Villa dell'Angelo is located a short distance from Monsummano Terme and Montecatini Terme. It has easy access to the main roads to Lucca and Florence. The villa has been well restored into a luxury Tuscan property.
There is a fantastic pool with hydromassage in the perfectly manicured villa garden. In the garden is a lovely wisteria covered gazebo and barbeque area. The large garden is completely surrounded by a laurel hedge.
The villa is entered into a pretty hall from where there are stairs to the first floor. Off this hall is the first of the double bedrooms. It's decorated in green colours. It's has several antique pieces of furniture which include the wardrobe and bedside tables. Doors lead out to a north facing terrace where there is a view of the pool. Off the hall is also a bathroom with Jacuzzi shower
Directly ahead of the hall is a small lounge, furnished with a double and a triple sofa and a couple of armchairs The floors are tiled with terracotta, and there is the typical Tuscan terracotta and wood beam ceiling.
Passing under an arch there is the main lounge with dining area to one side. This is a large spacious room with comfortable sofas and armchairs huddled around a large stone fireplace. Around the heavy wooden dining table are 8 chairs and two velvet armchairs. Double doors lead out to the garden.
An arch next to the fireplace leads into the well equipped kitchen. It is also a spacious room with a large stone fireplace on one side. There are marble sinks, 6 gas hobs, 2 ovens, a fridge with separate freezer and ice maker. In the centre of the room is a wooden table with eight chairs. To the back is a laundry with washing machine. A South facing terrace is accessed from the kitchen, here there is a table with chairs that can seat up to 14 people.
On the first floor there are the other three bedrooms. At the top of the stairs to the left is the blue bedroom, a twin room decorated in blue colours. This room can be made into double if requested on booking. There is a large wood wardrobe and chest of drawers, both antiques.
To the other side of the stairs is a bathroom which is accessed from the small hall, or it can be accessed from the second double bedroom, which is furnished in red colours. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and a shower with chromo and ozone therapy. The bedroom has an antique wardrobe and chest of drawers, in one corner is an armchair.
The last bedroom is the large master bedroom. There is a king size iron bed, large antique wardrobe and chest of drawers. A French window provides the room with plenty of light and a lovely view of the valley and over to Monsummano Alto. The room is completed by an en-suite bathroom with a Turkish bath and Jacuzzi shower which has chromo and aroma therapy.
Together with it's immediate neighbour, Villa Roncovisi, it can be rented for large groups.
If you require the twin to be a double please request this when booking.
Electricity usage above 250 kw per week will be charged according to consumption.
Small dogs are allowed.

Pool Info
The pool is a short distance away from the villa, reached by crossing a perfectly manicured lawn. It is surrounded by a terracotta paved sun-deck dotted with sun-beds, umbrellas and some tables with chairs. From the pool area there is a wonderful view of the valley surrounded by forest covered hills.
The pool is cleaned with a salt system instead of chlorine. There is a changing room with showers and a toilet below the pool. To one side of the pool is a diving board while on the other is a hydromassage for 8 people.

Nearest town
The nearest town is Monsummano Terme, which is about 2km away. This town has shops, restaurants and all other amenities. Montecatini Terme is a larger town and is about 5km away, it also has all facilities.

I like To Tuscany, partly because it has a tremendous range of villas, and partly because (unlike many companies) it has an excellent website that provides what you really want when choosing a villa.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
